यह अरावली पहाड़ियों में स्थित है और घने आलीशान पेड़ों और झाड़ियों से घिरा है। इस उल्लेखनीय इमारत को चित्रित दीवारों, गोल छतों और खंभों से सजाया गया है। कुंडों के अलावा, इस प्रागैतिहासिक हिंदू तीर्थ स्थान में मंदिर के भीतर भगवान राम, भगवान कृष्ण और भगवान हनुमान के मंदिर भी हैं। जयपुर के मुख्य पर्यटन स्थलों में से एक, मंदिर परिसर में प्राकृतिक मीठे पानी के झरने और सात पवित्र 'कुंड' या पानी की टंकियां हैं। इन कुंडों में, 'गलत कुंड', सबसे पवित्र है और माना जाता है कि यह कभी सूखता नहीं है। गाय के सिर के आकार की चट्टान 'गौमुख' से शुद्ध और साफ पानी तालाबों में बहता है।

यह शानदार मंदिर पारंपरिक मंदिर की तुलना में एक भव्य महल या 'हवेली' की तरह दिखने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। गलता बंदर मंदिर में एक सुंदर और भव्य परिदृश्य है जिसमें समृद्ध हरी वनस्पतियां हैं और जयपुर शहर का शानदार दृश्य है। यह मंदिर बंदरों की कई जनजातियों के लिए जाना जाता है जो यहां पाए जाते हैं और धार्मिक भजन और मंत्र, प्राकृतिक सेटिंग के साथ, पर्यटकों को शांतिपूर्ण माहौल प्रदान करते हैं।

गलता जी मंदिर का इतिहास

कहा जाता है कि शानदार गुलाबी बलुआ पत्थर की संरचना दीवान राव कृपाराम द्वारा बनाई गई थी जो सवाई जय सिंह द्वितीय के दरबारी थे। 16 वीं शताब्दी की शुरुआत से, गलताजी रामनादी संप्रदाय से संबंधित और जोगियों के कब्जे वाले शुद्धतावादियों के लिए एक आश्रय स्थल रहा है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि संत गलतव ने अपना सारा जीवन इस पवित्र स्थल पर सौ वर्षों तक तपस्या करते हुए बिताया।

History of Galta Ji Temple

The magnificent pink sandstone structure is said to have been built by Dewan Rao Kriparam who was the courtier of Sawai Jai Singh II. Since the early 16th century, Galtaji has been a haven for purists belonging to the Ramnadi sect and occupied by the Jogis. It is believed that Saint Galatav spent his entire life doing penance for a hundred years at this holy place.
